    East Londonderry

The SDLP’s John Dallat is now in poll position to take the fifth seat in East Londonderry after a cliffhanger tug-of-war against Sinn Féin’s Cathal Ó hOisín, says the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Gerry Bradley. After 15 and a half hours of counting at the Foyle Arena, Mr Dallat - who conceded defeat hours ago - has now overtaken Mr Ó hOisín by 87 votes.

Neither man has reached the quota but John Dallat is strong favourite to win the seat, with some observers calling him the Resurrection Man of the election. Maurice Bradley and George Robinson were elected for the DUP on the ninth count.
