Athletes race in Challenge Henley iron man competition
Athletes took part in the Challenge Henley Iron Distance race in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, on Sunday.
The event included a 3.8km (2.4 mile) swim, 180km (111.8 mile) bike race and 42.2km (26.2 mile) run, taking place on the River Thames, through the Chiltern Hills and nearby villages.
About 1,000 competitors took part, both individually and as part of relay teams. The race was won by Petr Vabrousek, of the Czech Republic.
