Revellers urged to stay away from 'illegal' Denbigh rave

People have been warned to stay away from an illegal rave planned for Denbigh this weekend - at the same time the National Eisteddfod opens in the town.
Police said they understood staff for the Lovely Lughnassa 2013 event were being recruited and tickets sold but a licence had not been granted.
An operation will try to stop the rave, planned for the outskirts of the town.
The National Eisteddfod opens in Denbigh on Friday night.
Police said anyone attending the rave would be told to leave.
Officers said the event had also been advertised on social media sites.
"Our primary concern is for the safety of the public - not only residents living nearby but also those who proposed to attend," said Insp Siobhan Edwards of North Wales Police.
"Illegal raves are potentially dangerous and need to be licensed to protect those attending.
"These events can cause untold damage and disruption and they are not regulated in relation to health and safety. Furthermore, they can have a great impact on members of the community living nearby."
Police are set to patrol the area where the rave is expected to take place.
