Your pictures: Chaos
Every week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme was chaos and we begin with a shot by Josh Uhr: "New York City's streets may best be described as chaotic. Still, it's an organised, exciting, and energetic chaos."
Ivan Knight: "Chaos Theory... the Butterfly Effect, when a butterfly flaps its wings it could ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world."
David Cooper: "I have just finishing painting and noticed that the very old set of stepladders has numerous different splashes of paint which could be interpreted as chaos."
Vic Barton-W盲lderstadt: "This is a photo of smoke from an incense stick lit from behind by a flashgun. To me this encompasses an image of abstract chaos as the lines and colours swirl around seemingly not knowing where they are going."
Sean Anderson: "Taken in the kitchen sink after I noticed the chaotic nature of the bubbles."
Lydia Rodie: "New York City pigeons scrambling for a piece of a hot dog bun."
Jan Birch: "This was part of my A-level coursework - Chaos Theory - The Butterfly Effect."
Soo Magee: "Engineering chaos at Blackpool Pleasure Beach."
Nick Benson: "This photo is not the most classically chaotic of pictures, but it just (for me at least) shows the speed of life in this wonderful city. It was taken with a half-second exposure; just long enough to get the blurred motion of the people."
Travis Lynn: "A dancer at a fire performance in Asheville, North Carolina, spinning a flaming staff." Next week's theme is school days. To enter, send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk; follow the link below this gallery for more details.
