Paul Henshall
 Paul has been a very busy man since he was spotted during Talent's search for a new drama actor.
He currently stars
in Holby City as the ambitious and competitive Dean West, a trainee Doctor who is confident his cerebral palsy does not
affect his skill as a doctor.
Paul trained as an actor training at the Manchester Metropolitan Drama School, but it was after the Talent hunt that he shot to stardom.
You can express yourself through acting in a way that a lot of other hobbies don't allow you to do. It allows you to be
someone else for an hour or two, and show those parts of your character which you wouldn't normally have the confidence
to show.
听
As well as his 'Holby' role, Paul also co-stars in the 大象传媒 Three hit comedy 'I'm with Stupid'. The show is described as, 'a very contemporary Odd Couple comedy that explores disability in a funny and truthful way'.

It was great fun to make... It's not really about disability, it's more about relationships. 听
 Since becoming a familiar face on the small screen Paul has appeared in well known TV game shows such as 'The Weakest Link' and 'Mastermind'.
Paul's specialist topic on 'Mastermind' was the popular programme 'Third Rock from the Sun' and during the show Paul discussed what it is like to be an actor and a person with a disability with 'Mastermind's' presenter, John Humphries.
When I play characters, the disability is just there for me. I play the character first and foremost. 听
