Pants to Poverty at The Castle
Big wigs, high heels and stockings that would make a panto dame
proud, the gang at The Castle did their bit to raise some dosh
for Comic Relief with a drag party.
Entertainment
came from Wymondham drag Queen Ophelia Buttercup as she belted
her way through 80s classics and judge the entries in the drag
queen competition.
A good night
was had by all, see some of the highlights.
HAPPY
SUNDAYS The Castle continues to have many a happy hour or
four on a Sunday afternoon. Between 3pm and 7pm, discounted
prices are available on every drink stocked.
FAST
FOOD BAR The building work is all done and dusted, the grand
opening is expected very soon. No longer will you have to stagger
your way down the Prince of Wales road run with the lager lads,
but The Castle will offer you a selection of all your fast food
favourites along with a pint or two - excellent.
BOOZE
IN THE BARN Like all great plans, sometimes you have to
made adjustments. This has pushed the opening of the barn back
a couple of months but the architects have re-worked their magic
and we hope to be open for al-fresco business in the summer.
EGG-STRAVAGANSA
Count your chickens, plans are being hatched for some Sunday
night madness on the Easter weekend. Bring your mates and some
chocolate paint. Details available soon from The Castle.
THANK
YOU (again) We would like to take this opportunity to say
thanks to all our customers for their custom over the past four
years and for putting up with the chaos during the building
works.
