BRIDGE TAKES SHAPE
Two months after work got underway, Derry's new footbridge across the Foyle is beginning to take shape. The steel piles now dot the water like giant stepping stones, and soon the concrete sections for its deck should start to arrive from Wales. They'll be lifted into position with the help of one of the UK's largest sea-going cranes - the "Mersey Mammoth" from Liverpool. 大象传媒 Radio Foyle's reporter, Jenny Witt, has been to the construction site at Ebrington for a progress report.
