| NEW FOOTBRIDGE FOR DERRY

The £13 million pounds Peace Bridge planned by Ilex for Derry will become the third bridge in the city.

Ìý
The foot and cycle bridge will is intended to physically and symbolically unite both sides of the River Foyle. It's built in an "S" shape, which overlaps at the middle. Ilex says it's intended to create a "single unified crossing – a structural handshake across the Foyle and an embrace in the centre of the river".
