Part of It!
The 大象传媒 and the National Trust have joined forces to
highlight the plight of the bee. Breathing Places in
Northern Ireland will have its own hive at ,
a National Trust site in county Down, and you will
be able to follow its progress.
Bees are the world's most important pollinating insects
and are worth about 拢200m a year to British agriculture.
Their dramatic decline in numbers has become a cause
of global concern.

From 17 May, with help from we are adopting
a local bee hive at Rowallen and following
the plight of a new colony of our favourite
pollen collectors over their busiest months. |

"There are 101 bee species
in Ireland. Nineteen of these species are
bumblebees, and more than half of these bumblebee
species are in decline." |

We'd love to see your pictures
of all types of bees in the UK and bee-friendly
habitats like wildflower meadows. Remember
it's all about the wildlife, bees and pollinating
insects, flowers and habitats - no people
pictures. |
