When
was it that you started getting interested in ghosts and the paranormal?
I had my first experience of the paranormal when I was 9 years old, I kept
on hearing voices calling to me and seeing dark shapes around my room,yes it was
unnerving at first, but my Grandmother who was a spiritualist told me not to be
afraid as it was only our loved ones trying to get through, so I guess this was
what planted the seed. Over the coming years I was fascinated in the paranormal
and was eager听to 听hear of any ghost stories. |
Have
you ever come across something you couldn't explain?
Have I ever personally come across something unexplainable, good one. In the
world of ghostly activity I guess there are many ways spirit try to communicate
with us and people could relate strange things that occur so I think Haven't as
yet come across any one specific thing that is unexplainable. |
Why
is that there has never been any firm evidence that ghosts exist?
Firm existence of ghosts, well can we as mere mortals
really yet understand the other side, we know nothing that may hamper them from
actually appearing at will, but I can say that spirit or ghosts when trying to
communicate use people as receptacles, rather like you and I using a phone,they
make contact in whatever way they can. As for photographic evidence many pictures
have been taken over the years of figures and other objects,the favourite being
what is known as "Orbs " or balls of light,these are what is known as spirit attempting
a manifestation or appearance. |
What
is the aim of the Bassetlaw Ghost Research Group?
The aim of our group is two fold; one to endeavor to provide evidence
beyond reasonable doubt of the existence of spirits or ghosts be it in photographic
form or video footage, secondly is to collate a book on our findings and the Haunted
buildings in our county and the groups personal experiences. |
What's
the most haunted place in Nottingham?
As for what we think is the most "Haunted Place in
Nottingham",well this is yet to be discovered and hopefully once your users
volunteer information in this area for us to investigate,who knows, however it
has been suggested that Guild Hall is very lively, it appears that prisoners hung
there for whatever their crimes were, also buried there in lime filled pits.
