Chris
Manning
Chris
is 23 years old and comes from Poole in Dorset where he lives with
his parents, although he was born in Inverness.
He
is single and currently works part time as IT support (as well as
song-writing in the afternoon!)
His
good habits are that he is tidy, respectful of other people's wishes,
he can make people laugh, he is romantic, if he says he will do
something for someone he will and he makes people feel comfortable.
Chris's
main ambition is success in song writing and performing worldwide.
But he would also like to act in a serious major movie, to skydive
and to give something back to the world.
Chris
is obsessed with Jackie Chan and this would be his specialist subject
on Mastermind.
"He is a true legend", says Chris, "as he taught
me that anything is possible if you put your mind to it."
A bit of a magician at heart, Chris loves all things magical and
hopes to perform a few tricks in the Academy.
His
music taste is anything from jazz to funky house; he likes to chill
out to David Gray, respects Paul Weller for his song-writing but
is not a big fan of Geri or Ronan.
He
draws inspiration from the music of Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones and
Robbie Williams.
