Fame
Academy - Audley is first out
Audley
Anderson, 31, is out of Fame Academy tonight (Saturday
9 August) after only three days in the Academy.
Cat
Deeley and Patrick Kielty introduced sizzling performances from
all 13 students live on 大象传媒 ONE before inviting viewers to vote
for their favourites.
The
viewers' vote saved ten students leaving Louise, Audley and Gary
with their fate undecided.
Panellists
Robin Gibb, Richard Park (Head Teacher) and Carrie & David Grant
(vocal coaches) voted to save Louise Griffiths, 26, from Herts,
who sang Touch Me In The Morning.
The
final choice was left to the students and in a nervous live vote
Gary Phelan, 21, from Newcastle, retained his Academy place after
singing Summer In The City.
Audley,
from Surrey, who tonight sang My Girl, qualified in a live heat
on Wednesday 30 July thanks to the vote from his peers, but tonight
he lost his Academy place by just three votes.
Afterwards,
Audley said: "I definitely got on with Peter and Barry. I was
close to James - although I drove him nuts singing My Girl all the
time. Alex is a little cutie.
"Louise
is surprisingly beautiful in personality as well as looks.
"Carolynne
is stunning all the time, even in the morning. All the girls are
beautiful - although I'd have to stay away from Louise or Jenson
will run me over!
"When
they start writing together that's when I predict romance - when
they start opening up together and letting people in to their inner
sense.
"Paris
could be seen as arrogant but he's just got a wealth of confidence.
If you're with him you just think there isn't a thing you can't
do. He trains his voice so hard - you can just imagine bar-bells
in his throat.
"Nobody
irritated me, but I had a very similar personality to Barry. Paris
beat my left arm in an arm wrestle - so I'd have to come back from
that.
"I
got on really well with Paris, he helped me vocally. He pushed me
to improve...I would have to say Paris will win - his vocal control
is beyond belief. We had great singing sessions.
"I
felt the pressure today. I wasn't the Audley I wanted to be. I could
see the disappointment in Carrie and David's faces and I wanted
the earth to swallow me up.
"Carrie
and David want us to excel. You have to unlearn what you have learnt
in your life and not to sing the song the way you've sung it in
the clubs for years. I knew what I had to do.
"I
crumbled in rehearsals, all the stuff Carrie had taught me was there
but then there were the cameras and everything else - I just crumbled.
You just don't realise what's involved. I would have got it, with
a little longer in the Academy.
"The
future looks bright, I'm very excited. I'm going to miss the guys
like crazy and I'm disappointed because I could have had a better
performance, but now I just want to make David and Carrie proud
of me. They are both honest and want the best for all of us. I want
them to look back and say we knew he was a star.
"I feel
disappointed. The guys are brilliant - the whole experience is brilliant.
I loved the food, it was amazing - I'm going to really miss it!"
The
12 surviving students return to the Academy and will all sing live
again on 大象传媒 ONE on Wednesday 13 August at 8.00pm when another student
has to leave.
