Moz's rich assortment of customers are played by new and diverse acting
talent drawn from the north of England further supporting 大象传媒 THREE's
desire to find and develop new comedy talent.
The Girls
Nicki is played by Nicola Reynolds
Nicki is Moz's girlfriend and they live together in a bedsit in Manchester.
Nicki and Moz have a love/hate relationship with Nicki constantly nagging
Moz about the state of the flat.
When she spots a rat in the flat it is the final straw!
Nicki also has a secret from Moz.
Nicola Reynolds
Nicola comes from South Wales. She has most recently appeared in an
episode of Little Britain.
Prior to that she has appeared in 大象传媒 TWO's Murder alongside Julie
Walters and in The Story Of Tracey Beaker and Tracey Beaker's Movie
Of Me.
She also appeared in Human Traffic.
Sangita is played by Sunetra Sarker
Sangita suffers from MS and is one of Moz's regular customers.
Sangita becomes a good friend of Nicki's while Moz can't seem to resist
putting his foot in it when he speaks to Sangita!
Sunetra Sarker
Sunetra has most recently starred as Anji in No Angels on Channel 4
and also previously played Nisha in Brookside.
Sunetra, who comes from Liverpool, also had a guest appearance in the
大象传媒 THREE comedy series The Smoking Room.
Jenny is played by Sinead Matthews
Jenny is the childminder from hell! She looks after a number of children
and regularly brings them along with her when she goes to score from
Moz.
She frequently forgets their names and even loses one of them in Moz's
flat!
Sinead Matthews
Sinead recently appeared in Mike Leigh's latest film, Vera Drake, and
in the 大象传媒 drama He Knew He Was Right.
Previous credits include theatre roles in productions including The
Crucible and Henry IV.
China is played by Natalie Gumede
China and her best friend Asia become regular clients of Moz but never
seem to have enough money to pay their way.
Their tight-fitting jeans, low-cut tops coupled with a flutter of their
eyelashes seem to be enough to persuade Moz to break his own rule of
no cash, no hash!
Natalie Gumede
Natalie recently appeared alongside Caroline Quentin, Una Stubbs and
Philip Jackson in ITV's Von Trapped.
Natalie got her big break when she was picked by 大象传媒 producers to present
the regional inserts for Children in Need in 1995.
Natalie was one of five hopeful young actors shortlisted by the 大象传媒
after a visit to Pendle Hippodrome Youth Theatre.
