Following the hugely successful pilot earlier this year, a series of the ground-breaking new programme Honey We're Killing The Kids! has been commissioned by 大象传媒 THREE.

Honey We're Killing the Kids! provides a unique opportunity for parents to fast forward into their children's future and actually come face to face with them in middle age.

For many, the rosy future they had pictured for them doesn't match the image before their eyes. Many of the children are found to be unhealthy, unhappy underachievers and it's all their parents' fault!

Presented by child psychology expert Kris Murrin, Honey We're Killing the Kids! will take six families and fast-forward their children's lives to the age of 40.

Using data compiled from a series of scientific and medical tests overseen by the Institute of Child Health, Kris will work with state-of-the-art graphics technology to create a detailed profile of how each child will look - and reveal the predictions for their future health and wellbeing.

So far so compelling - and the drama continues as the parents set about attempting to transform the entire family's lifestyle in order to change the face of their children's future.

Kris, a Government health adviser, will be laying down new guidelines for them to follow on everything from diet, exercise, literacy, sleep and leisure activities, with additional challenges tailored to particular families.

Honey We're Killing the Kids! has been commissioned through 大象传媒 Learning and will be produced by 大象传媒 Manchester's Format Entertainment department.

The series producer will be Robin Ashbrook, who devised the format, and the executive producer will be Helen Bullough.

The six by one-hour series will be screened on 大象传媒 THREE later this year and continues 大象传媒 THREE's innovative range of parenting programmes.

Notes to Editors

大象传媒 THREE recently won a clutch of awards at the prestigious Rose D'Or Television Festival in Lucerne.

Little Britain's Matt Lucas and David Walliams were awarded Golden Roses for Best Comedy and Best Male Comedy Performance, hard on the heels of two Bafta Awards last month.

Dark comedy drama Nighty Night, written by and starring Julia Davis and made by Baby Cow, won a Golden Rose for Best Sitcom.

Flashmob - The Opera won the Golden Rose in the Music Category.

大象传媒 THREE - which aspires to be the most innovative multi-genre digital channel in the UK - reaches nearly nine million viewers a week.

Forthcoming programme highlights this summer include The Week The Women Went, new series of The Smoking Room and The Mighty Boosh (which was nominated for a Comedy Award), as well as The Office - An American Workplace.

The Best of THREE Multiscreen, a ground-breaking complementary application for satellite viewers, is currently being trialled on Sunday nights at 9.00pm via the red button.
