12 high-profile jurors sitting in judgement over a complete trial for an
ambitious television event on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two.

Set to expose the judicial process and fully immerse the audience in the
process, The Verdict headlines a bold new year for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two, as it launches a
winter/spring 2007 schedule packed with big projects and the best talent.
Ìý
Due to be shown early next year, this fictional case involves an
internationally famous footballer and his friend who are on trial for rape.
Ìý
It is totally unscripted and improvised by actors, drawing on evidence and
examples from real life.

A real judge will preside over the case with
barristers acting for the prosecution and defence -
see separate Verdict release.

Jennifer Saunders returns to the channel in The Life And Times Of Vivienne
Vyle.

In her latest comic creation, set in the world of confessional daytime
