Radical reform to deliver a more focused ´óÏó´«Ã½

´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport

Ìý

´óÏó´«Ã½ Sport aims to achieve maximum impact from its TV coverage of major events, its comprehensive radio coverage on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live and its sport website – which is the biggest in Europe.

Ìý

It will use staff and resources more efficiently across all media, and it will introduce lower-cost and more flexible production methods and versatile scheduling for digital sports coverage.

Ìý

There will be an estimated 20 net redundancies in Sport over five years (a current department of 440), with approximately 30 to 35 gross post closures before redeployment.
