Catherine Tate reveals she is desperate to be Nancy

Tonight on 大象传媒 One's Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, Catherine Tate reveals she is desperate to be Nancy in Oliver!

She says: "I'd love to do Nancy, musical theatre, yes, for the rest of my life. I'll ring up John Barrowman and sing I'd Do Anything to him!"

Appearing with The Doctor, David Tennant, she says she never liked Doctor Who as a child.

"I didn't watch when I was little, I wasn't a fan. I thought it was quite boring ... [but] when David [Tennant] starting doing it, I started watching."

And about playing his new sidekick Donna, Catherine says: "She doesn't fancy him. She gets that he's great looking, but he's an alien."

Friday Night With Jonathan Ross
John Hurt

Also on the show, John Hurt hints at the secrets of his next role in forthcoming movie Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

"I'm not allowed to tell you a thing," he says, but hints that his character may be a man of few words. "You're not far off the mark."

As for his co-star: "Harrison Ford is brilliant, I have nothing but great things to say, he knows exactly how far to go."

He also reveals that he's making a sequel to The Naked Civil Servant. "It's true, I'm revisiting him [Quentin Crisp]. I find it quite daunting ... it was such a milestone, it's got to be right."

Jonathan also gets to snake-wrangle with zoologist Nigel Marven and there's music from Radiohead.

A Hotsauce TV production for 大象传媒 One.
