´óÏó´«Ã½ Proms In The Park brings the magic of the last night of the Proms to more than a million people across the United Kingdom.

The four events in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are centred on a live concert, each with its own high-profile artists, ´óÏó´«Ã½ orchestras and presenters.
Ìý
The regional events culminate in a live big-screen link-up to the Royal Albert Hall for the traditional festivities rounding off the world's biggest music festival.

The expanding programme of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Big Screens takes Proms In The Park around the country including Birmingham (Chamberlain Square), Bradford (Centenary Square), Derby (Market Place), Hull (Queen Victoria Square), Leeds (Millennium Square), Liverpool (Clayton Square), Manchester (Exchange Square), Rotherham (All Saints Square) and Swindon (Wharf Green) with other new screens currently being commissioned across the UK.

´óÏó´«Ã½ radio and television favourites Sir Terry Wogan, Noel Thompson and Gethin Jones will present the London, Belfast and Swansea events respectively. Operatic legend José Carreras performs at Hyde Park, with other top artists to be announced over the coming months.

A huge variety of music groups and stars will again be involved around the country, and esteemed conductors, including Martin Yates (´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra), Kenneth Montgomery (´óÏó´«Ã½ Ulster Orchestra), David Charles Abell (´óÏó´«Ã½ National Orchestra of Wales) and Robert Ziegler (´óÏó´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra) lead the music festivities around the UK.

NS&I (National Savings and Investments), the government-backed savings and investments provider, renews its event sponsorship in the second year of a three-year deal covering all four venues.

This year's concerts are broadcast live on ´óÏó´«Ã½ radio and television; ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 2 broadcasts live from London's Hyde Park; ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Ulster, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Scotland and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Wales broadcast their national events from Belfast, Glasgow and Swansea.
