Trudi

Richard – Patrick Baladi

Richard has been Trudi's rock through the difficult and tumultuous time involving her husband's reappearance. Their relationship has gone from strength to strength and soon co-habitation is on the cards although, disappointed with the lack of romance, Trudi doesn't like the thought of making such a commitment in the name of convenience. Richard finally takes the hint and asks Trudi to be his wife but, just as things appear to be going to plan, Trudi makes a discovery that could change everything.

Lucas – Sean Francis

With money tight for Trudi and Richard, Trudi decides to make some extra cash by baking cakes and selling them at the local deli. Lucas is the owner of said deli and is keen to snap up Trudi's tasty treats. He looks forward to Trudi's weekly delivery but as their friendship grows, his romantic feelings for her deepen. When Trudi discovers Richard's web of lies, she turns to Lucas for support but can he suppress his feelings enough to be a good and true friend?

Jessica

Mark – Oliver Milburn

Wealthy businessman Mark is a man who has everything; money, cars and a playboy lifestyle and, after a whirlwind romance with Jessica, the pair decide to tie the knot. The wedding is by no means an end to their freedom, as both Mark and Jessica agree to an 'open' relationship. Mark enjoys flirting with his assistant Carrie, which, despite her feigning disinterest, drives Jessica to distraction. Jessica's dilemma: does she give him the ultimatum of dropping his bed-hopping ways or lose her, or would she run the risk of pushing him into the arms of his beautiful PA?

Simon – Adam Astill

On Jessica's big day, who could be better to walk her down the aisle than her boss, Simon? As Jessica and Simon's events company begins to struggle, they are in desperate need of a sudden injection of cash. When Mark saves the day, it seems their prayers are answered, but as Jessica's former casual sex partner, will Simon feel put out by the new man on the scene?
