In spring 2010, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two will rediscover its recent past through a series of programming focusing on the Eighties...
A fable of excess and flawed ambition, set in the world of movie deals, shark agents and impossibly petulant actors, Money is a timely two-part drama for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two tapping into a guilty nostalgia for the Eighties. It also says something universal about the corrupting nature of capitalism and greed.
Adapted from Martin Amis's cult novel of the same name, Money stars Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun Of The Dead) as torpid anti-hero John Self, Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men, Angel) as uber-slick film producer Fielding Goodney, Emma Pierson (Little Dorrit, Hotel Babylon) as Self's girlfriend Selina and Jerry Hall (Calendar Girls, Popetown) as wooden soap actress Caduta Massi.
It is 1981, and Self is a successful director of commercials who is invited to New York by film producer Fielding Goodney in order to shoot his first film. An archetypal hedonist living on his wits and his luck, Self lurches from one crisis to the next as he chases his dream – and the money.

Rich in cultural references and humour, Royal Wedding, a new drama by Bafta-winning writer Abi Morgan (White Girl, Sex Traffic), is set against the backdrop of the much-celebrated marriage of the, then, Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince Of Wales in 1981.

But, during the course of their celebrations, events unfold which will change their lives forever.
Jodie Whittaker (St Trinian's, Cranford) and Darren Boyd (Little Dorrit, Kiss Me Kate) lead the cast, alongside Kevin Bishop (The Kevin Bishop Show), Rebekah Staton (Pulling, Tess Of The D'Urbervilles), Alun Raglan, Sarah Hadlan and newcomer Gwyneth Keyworth.

Bafta award-winning writer Dominic Savage returns to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two with a new two-part drama, Dive. Savage captures the essence of teenage life in the 21st Century with his observation of a young couple finding love for the first time, while coping with the high and lows of growing up in the UK.

In the first episode, Lindsey's passion and dedication for diving is rewarded when she is selected to represent Team GB at the 2012 Olympics. The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister, a brand new, bold and passionate drama for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two, stars Maxine Peake (Criminal Justice, Little Dorrit) as the Yorkshire landowner, industrialist, traveller and diarist.
Anne Lister, 1791–1840, was a lesbian who, despite needing to keep her orientation secret from society at large, defied the conventions of her times by living with her female lover.
Anne kept a detailed account of her life, loves and emotions in a fascinating and painfully honest four million word journal. A sizeable portion of the journal was written in code and the recent deciphering of these diaries provides an astonishing insight into the life of the woman who has been called Britain’s first modern lesbian.
This one-off 90-minute drama features a stellar cast, including Anna Madeley (Crooked House, Sense And Sensibility), Susan Lynch (Elizabeth – The Golden Age, The Scouting Book For Boys), Christine Bottomley (Land Girls, Hope Springs), Gemma Jones (Spooks, Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince), Dean Lennox Kelly (Shameless, Robin Hood) and Tina O'Brien (Coronation Street).
An accompanying documentary presented by comedy writer and presenter Sue Perkins tells the story of Anne Lister and the decoding of her diaries.
