´óÏó´«Ã½ TWO
The Review Show, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Two's weekly cultural discussion programme with Kirsty Wark and Martha Kearney, is also joining in with the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Year Of Books with a regular programme devoted to book reviews.
The show airs live every Friday night throughout the year and has traditionally devoted a portion of its time to literature – a yearly special from the Edinburgh Book Festival, a show covering the Booker Prize, and regular features across the year.
Now, for the first time, the show also devotes entire programmes to books. Each month in The Review Show: Book Special, a panel of experts and book-lovers cast a critical eye over recent releases.
Each show also features an in-depth interview with a leading author, in which they're probed not just about their latest work, but their entire oeuvre. Other items feature famous artists talking about the books that have inspired them, and a year-long search for our panellists' favourite classic work.

´óÏó´«Ã½ ONE
Award-winning author and former Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo OBE delivers the 35th Richard Dimbleby Lecture on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One in February.
Michael's best-known book, War Horse, was recently dramatised to critical acclaim and is now being made into a Hollywood feature film.
Michael combines his work as a writer with a role as an ambassador for a leading children's charity. In this role he recently visited the Middle East where he witnessed at first hand the difficulties that children face in times of conflict.
In this year's Richard Dimbleby Lecture, Michael draws on this and other experiences in order to explore children's rights, and the wrongs they have to endure.
