Presenters

Steve Jones and Alex Jones are the Presenters for Let's Dance for Sport Relief 2012.

Steve Jones

Steve grew up in Tylorstown in the Rhondda valleys, a former mining community. Having packed in a job at his local printing factory at 21 years old, to travel the world, Steve was spotted by a model scout in Thailand. He started as a model for Elle, and went on to work in Australia, Korea and London.

It was a natural progression to the screen as Steve swiftly moved into presenting in 2000; namely HTV Wales's The Pop Factory followed by Channel 5's 99 Things To Do Before You Die, Shipwrecked and the early morning breakfast show RI:SE for Channel 4.

Steve then went on to present Channel 4鈥檚 T4 for seven years, interviewing stars such as Beyonce, Avril Lavigne, George Clooney, Mariah Carey, Will Smith and Christina Aguilera to name but a few.

In 2008 Steve presented Channel 4's When Women Rule the World, in which eight women took charge of a group of men and built a female-dominated 'world' on a Caribbean island, as well as appearing in the film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.

Steve travelled all over the globe to film the 大象传媒1 series Drop Zone, ventured up the Amazon with his brothers for the Sky One special Jones Brothers Amazon Adventure, and then onto Argentina to film 大象传媒1's Saturday night game show, 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow.

Steve has also fronted the hugely popular Let鈥檚 Dance for 大象传媒1 and in 2011 hosted the premiere season of X Factor in the USA.

Alex Jones

Alex Jones was born in Ammanford in South Wales and studied theatre, film and TV at Aberystwyth University.

On graduation Alex became a television researcher and was soon asked to try her hand in front of the camera. For over a decade she hosted shows for Welsh language channel SC4 such as Tocyn, a stylised travel series offering alternative holidays; Chwa, an extreme sports series; Salon, a style and fashion programme; and in 2010 she hosted The Big Welsh Talent Concert. She also co-hosted Jonathan with rugby legend Jonathan Davies during the 2010 Six Nations Championship and was a regular presenter on Real Radio GMG, Wales' largest commercial station.

Last year she took part in Strictly Come Dancing and was partnered with James Jordan. A popular combination they reached the semi finals of the competition. This is Alex鈥檚 second series of Let鈥檚 Dance.
