5 must-see acts for Sunday at Glastonbury

It's the last day of Glastonbury 2019, but certainly not least in terms of the huge performances on offer. We've already been treated to show-stopping performances from the likes of The Killers and Stormzy, and there's plenty more still to come.

Here are five acts not to miss today - from Glastonbury debuts courtesy of Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish to a history-making headline set from The Cure.

1. Miley Cyrus

It's been an eventful year so far for Miley Cyrus. In January, she reached No.2 in the chart with her Mark Ronson collab Nothing Breaks Like a Heart. Then, in May, she . She followed that earlier this month by delivering a brilliant portrayal of a popstar-turned-robot in Black Mirror. But if you think that's strange, how about Miley witnessing her own dad going to No.1 with a country-trap song?

2019 about to get even bigger for Miley though, with the star describing her upcoming Glastonbury performance as a "bucket list" moment. She told Newsbeat: "I've put everything in order to make sure it is the best experience I could have because it's one event that is a real goal for me. Nothing will get in my way to make sure it's the best time it could possibly be not just for me, but for the audience too." You heard her!

2. Billie Eilish

"I’m realising the place I’m in right now is kind of my time... my moment," Billie Eilish recently . And you know what? She's totally right. This year has seen the 17-year-old become the youngest female artist to have a UK No.1 album and the first 2000s-born artist to top the albums chart in the US. She's quite literally making history.

Her bassy branding of pop combines all the angst, confusion and vulnerability that comes with being a teen and filters them fluidly through genres like hip-hop, EDM and RnB. It's what's made her a cult icon to many, and you just know that all-conquering stardom is around the corner too. Following her , Eilish's Glastonbury debut is set to be one to remember.

3. Dave

Dave is an artist that dodges labels. His music incorporates many genres - UK rap, grime, Afrobeats and RnB among them - while he can switch seamlessly between dancefloor-filling, pop-friendly tunes and more political tracks that pack a punch. His two recent hits displayed this duality: the bouncy chart-topper Funky Friday and the vital and thoughtful Black, which saw Dave exploring modern racial identity, with a video featuring cameos from the likes of Stormzy and footballer Raheem Sterling.

You'll likely see both sides of the star during his Glastonbury set, and get to witness why he's one of the UK's most exciting and urgent performers. After all, there's good reason why . Just don't expect Dave to be exploring the Worthy Farm fields after the show. As he : "I’m not a welly guy at all."

4. Kylie Minogue

Glastonbury will be a particularly emotional affair for one Kylie Minogue, who was originally due to perform at the festival over a decade ago, but had to cancel due to health reasons. "I think most people know that I was meant to headline there in 2005 and I had my breast cancer diagnosis so I couldn't do that," she recently told ´óÏó´«Ã½ News.

"So by the time I am standing on that stage doing my own show it will all hit me," Kylie said, adding that her Worthy Farm set will be a catharsis of sort: "All the more reason to celebrate. I made it, I made it here."

But despite all that Kylie has achieved in her career to date, a stage as huge as Glastonbury's Pyramid still manages to daunt her a little: "It's a big deal for me. And it's the Legends slot. You know, I keep calling it the afternoon slot just to take the pressure off."

5. The Cure

If there's someone who knows a thing of two about headlining Glastonbury then it's Robert Smith. His goth-rock heroes The Cure will top the bill for the fourth time this year, having previously headlined in 1986, 1990 and 1995. To put that in some perspective: Stormzy was less than two when the band last sat up top on the Pyramid Stage. Even more impressively, they now will equal Coldplay's record for the most Glastonbury headline performances.

While fans can expect to hear classics like Just Like Heaven, Friday I’m in Love, Boys Don’t Cry and Pictures of You as part of the band's two-hour set, we might even be treated to some new music too. It has been confirmed that , and it's been described as the "saddest" and "most dramatic" record they've ever made. What a way to close Glastonbury 2019 that would be.
