Privacy
This privacy notice describes how we use personal information about you during and after your relationship with us, in accordance with data protection law. You can find out more about your information and privacy here.
Any personal information that you provide – your name, address, contact details and any other information you give us about yourself – will only be used by the My Generation production team in making the programme. We may use it to help us select whom we include in the programme and as a basis for further discussion of your application request. We will not use your data for marketing or general research and we will not share your information outside of the Production Team or with 3rd parties.
The 大象传媒 is the “data controller” of this information. This means that the 大象传媒 decides what your personal information is used for, and the ways in which it is processed. The legal basis on which the 大象传媒 processes your personal information is its legitimate interest in creating the My Generation quiz. We have assessed the balance between our interests in processing your data against any impact on your individual rights and freedoms, and found that such impact does not override our interests.
We will hold your information securely for one year, after which it will be deleted. If you wish us to delete your information sooner than that, just email us at mygeneration@bbc.co.uk and we will confirm when your information has been deleted. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
