Children's comedy drama about Patrick, a 12-year-old kid from a council estate who feels unappreciated by everyone around him until his long-lost gran turns up and he sets out on an adventure to build a rocket for a school competition. Patrick's rocket refuses to take off and so he has to start again but he needs a launch pad. To make matters worse Dessy cannot work out how to power the rocket. The whole project is heading for disaster until the estate caretaker lends a hand.
