Children's comedy drama about Patrick, a 12-year-old kid from a council estate who feels unappreciated until his long-lost gran turns up and he sets out on an adventure to build a rocket for a school competition.

Patrick is infatuated by Amanda Barrington. When her flat is burgled, Patrick says he's going to get her stuff back. Dessy points out they have enough problems of their own getting sponsorship for their rocket. A teddy bear and Patrick's younger sister hold the solution to both problems.
