Innovative new series that takes four GPs out of their surgeries and on to the streets of Britain. The series starts in Liverpool.

A brand-new health series that takes four GPs out of their surgeries and on to the streets of Britain, where they will diagnose, inform and treat members of the the public wherever they are - on the street, in the shopping centre, at work or on the bus home.

The series begins in Liverpool, where Dr George, Dr Barbara, Dr Jonty and Dr Ayan have their work cut out - lung cancer is the biggest killer in this city, and the women have the lowest life expectancy in England.

Amongst the GPs' impromptu patients are 28-year-old Renu Shanker, who has been coughing up blood for over a year, Sandra Dermott, whose extraordinary white tongue is proving to be a medical mystery, and ferry-port worker Peter Thompson, who wants to get to the root cause of his painful hip.
