One year ago, Belfast composer Neil Martin was commissioned to create a symphony on the theme of the flight of the Earls. This is the story of how he created 'Ossa' (bones). His piece is enwrought with musical twists and turns. It explores the high emotions of the period and the innumerate contradictions in our historical understanding of it.
