Petroc Trelawny introduces a performance given by Les Arts Florissants in the Usher Hall as part of the Edinburgh International Festival 2008. The programme features French arias and orchestral music from the French Baroque, including works by Rameau, Lambert and Charpentier. William Christie's ensemble is considered to be at the forefront of baroque music groups worldwide and they are joined in this concert by leading soprano Anne Sofie von Otter.
