With the countdown to Christmas underway, this week's See Hear has a decidedly festive feel to it! There's the traditional See Hear signed Christmas music video, a Town Crier who has gone deaf due to his extremely noisy job, signed carols from Trafalgar Square and Memnos dons his Santa costume!

Every year See Hear challenges a well known deaf director to produce an exclusive signed Christmas music video. This year Samuel Dore has been entrusted with the important task. John Smith, deaf comedian
Deaf comedian, John Smith pops in to the studio for a chat. Known for entertaining in deaf clubs and theatres all over the country he performs his entire set in BSL. John shares his unique Christmas memories with Memnos and Radha and they find out what he'll be up to over the coming weeks.

Christchurch's award winning town crier Keith Jackman has been ringing his bell for a quarter of a century often reaching a volume of over a hundred decibels and his hearing has suffered as a result. But it's not just noisy jobs like Keith that can cause you to go deaf. See Hear finds out about the RNID's new campaign called 'Don鈥檛 Lose the Music' which aims to educate music lovers about the damage that can be caused to your hearing from listening to loud music.
