Episode 14

Consumer programme. With debt across the UK increasing by over 150 million pounds each day, X-Ray tackles debt amongst Welsh consumers, with Lucy Owen tackling everyday spending.

As the credit card bills for Xmas land on our doorsteps, X-Ray takes a close look at personal debt. Why is it so easy to run up debts, and so hard to pay them off?

Jessie Swinburn meets Mandy Brown from Pembrokeshire whose debts reached crisis level - and with the help of psychologist Paul Buckley, discovers why it's so easy to run up debts.

We go behind the scenes to discover what life is like for the men who deliver that dreaded knock on the door - the bailiffs.

And debt diva Sue Clay takes a close look at the finances of working woman Julie Carrington. Her debts are relatively small-scale but, like many of us, she just can't seem to get them sorted. Where's she going wrong, and what steps can she take to get her budget under control?

And for those of us who just need to tighten our belts a notch, Lucy Owen has some top-tips on how to make small savings everyday.
