Louise Fryer presents music inspired by ancient Greek myths, with a focus on stories of Pan and Syrinx, and Ariadne lamenting her abandonment by Theseus in music by Monteverdi and Haydn. Plus music based on the few fragments that survive from ancient Greece itself.
