Ken Bruce waves the flag for the UK at the 54th Eurovision Song Contest in the Olympic Stadium, Moscow (known locally as the Olimpiysky Indoor Arena) as the nation finds out if 21-year old Jade Ewen can restore honour for the UK, with 'It's My Time' - a song penned by Andrew Lloyd Webber and US Grammy Award-winning songwriter Diane Warren.
Who will vote for whom, who will flaunt the best costumes and who will set the pace musically? From the very first competition in Lugano, Switzerland in 1956, there has always been controversy, passion and perky songs. But will this year's event be a classic? With 25 countries in this year's final it promises to be an interesting but possibly long night.
Join Ken in the commentary cabin, as he provides an occasional bon mot and pithy observation, surrounded by the 16,000 strong Russian crowd at the world's greatest live song competition. During the interval he will play some of the great Eurovision hits.
