Is graffiti a problem where you live?

Vandals responsible for a spate of recent graffiti attacks across Dundee have been accused of ruining the city. Businesses, shops and pubs say the clean-up costs are an expense they could do without.

But is graffiti vandalism or art? The Bristol-based graffiti artist Banksy has attracted a quarter-of-a-million people to his homecoming exhibition since it opened in June. Was it therefore heavy-handed when, last year, Gary Shields from Glasgow was given Scotland's longest ever jail term for spray-painting train carriages and stations across the country?

Shereen Nanjiani (standing in for Graham Stewart) takes your calls, texts and emails.
