The essential guide to Welsh life. Rachel Treadaway-Williams meets a man who spent over 3,000 pounds training as a driving instructor, but is still struggling to find customers.
The essential guide to Welsh life with Lucy and Rhodri Owen.
Rachel Treadaway-Williams investigates the world of driving schools. When he retired from the RAF, Bruce Boe from Anglesey thought that working as a driving instructor would help him combine his two passions, cars and teaching, but after spending over 3,000 pounds on a training course he still doesn't have the thriving business he'd hoped for. And in Aberbargoed, near Caerphilly, 17 year-old Brandon Thorpe's dad paid almost 600 pounds for his son's lessons, but within weeks the instructor seemed to disappear into thin air.
In Abertillery, Rhodri meets single dad Anthony Marsh and and housewife Amanda Gibbs who both need to give up smoking, and Liz Clarke from Stop Smoking Wales will be on hand to advise on the most effective treatments.
In Newport, Lucy discovers whether the people there know how to deal with a diabetes sufferer who's experiencing a sugar low.
