The Large Hadron Collider at Cern will restart today. Rhod finds out about the last homeless man in Times Square New York and he speaks to the "preppers" a growing group in America.
World Stories with Rhod Sharp. The Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva is firing up again later today. John Butterworth a physics professor at UCL who works on the project told Rhod what's going to happen when they switch it back on.
The story of "heavy" the last remaining homeless person to live in Time Square New York. Ellen Goldstein Vice President of Policy Planning and Design at the Times Square Alliance told Rhod about Heavy's plight and why he won't accept anyone's help.
And Rhod spoke to Tom Martin one of a growing number of Americans who are becoming survivalists prepared to take on whatever catastrophe might befall them.
