Ministers, delegates and aid organisations gather in New York to discuss the reconstruction effort for Haiti. A rare Superman comic sells for over a million dollars.

World stories with Rhod Sharp. Ministers, delegates and aid organisations will gather in New York today to discuss the reconstruction effort for Haiti. Albert Ramdin, the assistant secretary general of the Organization of American states tells Rhod what they hope to achieve.

Superman has become the 1 and a half million dollar man, after a rare copy of the first edition to feature the superhero smashed all previous auction records. Steven Fischler is the CEO and founder of ComicConnect.com the auction site that sold the comic and gives Rhod a synopsis of the story.

And people in New Zealand aren't happy at the use of a song by English band Jesus Jones to promote the Rugby World cup. The song has been covered by the New Zealand group the Feelers. People there think it should be a New Zealand song. Rhod speaks to Mike Edward the lead singer of Jesus Jones and to reporter Colin Peacock for the kiwi point of view.
