Brian Matthew, the voice of sixties popular music, presents the programme for all fans of the decade with a second hour of Connections tracks which lead from one to the next.

A special New Year's Day edition with a second hour comprising the SOTS Connections. Each track leads to the next with a connection of some kind. Can you work out the next track before it plays?

The first hour includes music from Classics IV, Susan Maughan, Traffic and Danny Williams. The Chronicles look at the millionth Morris Minor, the first Top of the Pops, Sir Stanley Matthews, The Forsyte Saga and the death of Donald Campbell in Bluebird.

Brian Matthew presents the programme for all fans of the music of the 1960s. Sounds of the Sixties began in 1983 and Brian has been at helm since 1990, bringing to the programme his distinctive voice and unmatchable experience of sixties shows.
