And who was the singer Hugh Nelson better known as?

The Chronicles marks anniversaries of The Twist, The Beatles' first management contract, the death of Winston Churchill, the fire on Apollo 1 and how Milton Keynes became a 'new town'. Also when did the sea freeze off the Essex coast?

Sounds of the Sixties began in 1983 and Brian has been at the controls since 1990, bringing to the programme his distinctive voice and unmatchable experience of sixties shows.
