Victoria Hesketh aka Little Boots, started making music from a young age, as she sung, played the flute and harp.
By 2005, she was singing an playing synth in a band called 'Death Disco' after answering an advert posted at the University of Leeds.
A couple of years later, she decided to pursue a solo career. By 2009, she had been shortlisted for the 大象传媒 Sound of 2009 poll and had released her debut album 'Hands.'
SESSIONS:
New Model Army (in session for David Jensen on 17th July 1983)
NMA formed in Bradford, West Yorkshire in 1980.
The band was named after the English revolutionary army of Oliver Cromwell.
The group has a loyal, global, multi-generational cult following called The Family.
Loop (in session for John Peel on 14th June 1988)
This was the second of three sessions the band recorded for John Peel.
The band originated from South London in 1986.
The band were influenced by Krautrock and No Wave.
