Echo and The Bunnymen, Air and Orbital

Featuring Echo and The Bunnymen at Glastonbury in 1997, plus archive sessions from Air in 1998 and Orbital from 1994.

CONCERT:

Echo & the Bunnymen (playing Glastonbury Festival in 1997)
Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant started to record as a duo under the name 'Echo'.
They made their debut live appearance at Liverpool club 'Eric's' as Echo & the Bunnymen.
They released their debut album 'Crocodiles' in 1980.
The band will be touring many festivals throughout July and August including Latitude.
They will also be headlining the UK tour throughout September.

SESSIONS:

Air (in session for John Peel on 20th May 1998)
Air released their debut album 'Moon Safari' in 1998.
The French duo has released 6 albums to date.
Air also collaborated on the Charlotte Gainsbourg album 5:55 along with Neil Hannon, Nigel Godrich and 6 Music's own Jarvis Cocker.

Orbital (in session for John Peel on 3rd August 1994)

Orbital are brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll from Dartford, Kent.
Orbital formed in 1989.
Their first composition 'Chime' was recorded and mastered onto cassette for a total production cost 拢2.50.
They split in 2004 but in 2009 announced they would headline the Big Chill Festival.
