Boxer Amir Khan stopped by US customs
Should Asians stop complaining when they're stopped at customs? And is it time to end the practise of separating men and women in places of worship?
At 1- Should Asians stop complaining when they're stopped at customs?
The Boxer Amir khan has become the latest in a long line of Asian celebrities who've had their travel plans disrupted after a run in with customs.
After landing in Los Angeles yesterday the world champion tweeted "Landed in LA safe, but the customs took the **** again because I'm muslim. Kept me in some holding room for over 2 hours asking why my uncle's with me. He went on to say "They were so arrogant and unprofessional. Didn't know how to talk to people"
What do you think about this? Is he right to complain or should he just accept that its a fact of life of the times we live in.
If the authorities want to keep us safe they inevitably will end up questioning innocent people so should we stop moaning?
After 2- Is it time to end the practise of separating men and women in places of worship?
