Consumer magazine. How Thomas Cook let down a Bridgend family hoping for a special vacation in Spain, and the pensioner having financial demands made on her.
When Helen Morgan from Bridgend booked a holiday for herself and her three children, she had a very special reason to hope that their fortnight in Spain would be filled with happy memories. Her eldest son, Pee-jaay was suffering from terminal cancer, and it would be the family's last holiday together. But even though Helen made it clear to Thomas Cook that her family had special needs, the travel company failed to provide them with suitable accommodation. Rachel Treadaway-Williams finds out what went wrong.
Rosanna Dupon and Gordon Griffith from Newport put down a deposit on a new sofa at Easy Living Furniture in Cardiff Gate just a day before the store went into administration back in March. Since then they've been struggling to get hold of their new furniture - not helped by some very mixed messages from the company's administrators.
73-year-old Valerie Morris relies heavily on her TV, and loves to watch Sky. So when she was called by a company offering to renew her Sky warranty, Valerie eventually sent them a cheque for almost 拢80. But to her amazement, Aurora Logistics from Swansea then started ringing her and sending her debt letters. Rhodri Owen finds out what's going on.
And Lucy Owen gets 'On the Case' for Carol Thomas who's been struggling to arrange a balloon flight over Wales since she was given a voucher for one back in 2004.
