Forty six million tax payers could be set to receive free shares in the two biggest state-owned banks - Lloyds and Royal Bank of Scotland - if a proposal by Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg is successful. We are joined by Michael O'Connor from Portman Capital - the company advising the Lib Dems on the idea.
HMV shareholders are voting on the sale of its book chain Waterstones. A portion of the 拢53 million in sales revenues could be used by HMV to pursue a new High Street strategy moving towards concert venues. Bryan Roberts of Kantar retail is with us.
The US has voted to keep interest rates on hold and announced a big cut in growth predictions. We speak to Scott Sumner, professor of economics at Bentley University.
