We look at how unions are to thrash out their planned protests, Greece, and what a peculiarly early pea harvest means for us in the UK.
June 30th could see hundreds of thousands of public sector employees protest across the UK. Some of the main unions involved are to meet in London to discuss their plans for the protests. Andy Cook, from employee relations advisers Marshall James gives us an idea of what we can expect.
The Greek government survived a vote of confidence last night, by 155 votes to 143. Getting through the vote was a vital part of the process to avoid default on the country's debt. Thousands of people reacted by protesting in the streets of Athens, venting their anger at impending austerity measures. Our 大象传媒 reporter in Athens, Manuela Saragosa, tells us more.
This year's pea harvest is the earliest in over three decades. We find out from James Young, head of agriculture at Birds Eye, what this mean for us as consumers.
