Is there any excuse for this weeks riots?

Many of you would have been listening yesterday when our caller Max defended the actions of those who took part in the riots. He said lack of opportunity, young people's resentment at being landed with debt, both personal and national, and bleak prospects meant that some of these rioters see that they are entitled or justified in what they did.

What do you think? You may have seen the people on the news last night defending their actions...how did that make you feel? Do you understand where they were coming from? Or did it just make you angry?
