Who deserves the most money from wills?
Nihal asks - are sons entitled to more of the family will than daughters? Plus the Guess the Story panel join Nihal in the studio for a bit of our news quiz.
At 1, Nihal chairs the debate of the day. He's asking if sons are entitled to more of the family will than daughters?
We're asking this question because of a legal case surrounding the will of Ranjit Singh. He was a successful businessman who left eight hundred and seventy thousand pounds. Despite having six children, he left virtually all his money to his three sons and left a tiny fraction of his estate to his daughters. What do you think about this? Culturally, sons are expected to look after parents, take responsibility as head of the family. Daughters are said to join another family when they marry, sometimes they would have already had a dowry so it's only right that the sons get the lions share of the cash? Do you agree? Or do you think she is guilty of being greedy?
After 2, guess the story panel join Nihal in studio for a bit of our news quiz.
