Do you think Asian women are treated better by non Asian men?

We started asking this because one of the stars of Downton Abbey says that she thinks modern men don't know how to treat women. But when we spoke to guests the message that came through was that non Asian were far more chivalrous than Asian men. Is it really fair to say that? Do Asian men need to shape up otherwise they risk losing out? Do you think Asian men have only got themselves to blame? Have they ever known the meaning of chivalry? Or are these generalisations totally unfair?
