Have Pakistani cricketers Butt, Asif and Amir received long enough jail sentences?

For the first time ever today, anywhere in the world, cricketers have been given prison sentences for match fixing. The former Pakistan captain Salman Butt got two and a half years, Mohammed Asif got sent down for a year, teenager Mohammed Amir 6 months.

What do you think about these sentences? They will be probably be released half way through, are the sentences tough enough? Are custodial sentences really the right way to deal with match fixing?
