Controlling Asian men.

Are Asian husbands too controlling? Plus Nihal is joined by Harinder Singh who is in the UK doing talks about 1984 riots. And Asian and discounts?

Debate at 1 o'clock with Nihal. We're asking - are Asian husbands too controlling?

Have you read about the case of Dalwara Singh in the papers? He lived in Leciester with his wife Jaspreet, but was jealous and possesive. In an attempt to stop her from leaving the house, he laced her food with steroids so she would grow hairs and spots on her face and be unable to lose weight. He's been convicted of posioning her and given a suspended sentence.

Does this shock you? Are you surprised that in 21st century Britain a man would go to such lengths to control his wife? Have you experienced subtle forms of control from your partner? If you've got a story to share then get involved.

After 2, Harinder Singh one of the original co-founder of Sikh Research Institute in Texas joins Nihal in studio. He's in the UK doing talks about 1984 anti-Sikh riots and later in the hour, we're asking, are Asians an embarrassment when it comes to discounts?
